What the maker told its dealers
Service bulletins are the manufacturer's own repair guidance to dealers, filed with NHTSA. A bulletin is not a defect finding; the count rises with how many things a maker writes down, not only with how many go wrong.
Hummer filed 3 bulletins about the 2006 H1.
- Electrical system: 1
- Engine and engine cooling: 1
- Suspension: 1
- Halfshaft retaining bolt with pre-applied thread locker for all h1 models and model years. *pe · August 2008
- Hummer - geared fan drive replacement - all 2006 model year alpha vehicles. *nj · May 2008
- Electrical diagnostics. illumination of the check engine light, and abs light. and an inoperative central tire inflation system (ctis). *kb · July 2007
Grouped by NHTSA's top-level system; a bulletin filed under a sub-heading counts toward its system.
