About this model
The Hyundai i20 is a supermini car produced by Hyundai since 2008. The i20 made its debut at the Paris Motor Show in October 2008, and sits between the i10 and i30. The i20 replaces the Getz in nearly all of its markets, while several markets received the slightly larger Accent/Verna hatchback to replace it instead.

Filed by the manufacturer with a regulator. A recall is repaired free of charge, whoever owns the car now.

An error may occur in the Double Clutch Transmission or the Transmission Control Unit. This can lead to unintended deceleration, creating a risk of accidents and injuries. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.

SR/01776/26
Vehicles equipped with a 1.0 T-GDI petrol engine may have an incorrectly routed vacuum hose, causing the vacuum inlet to remain under pressure and generate vibrations that could lead to cracking of the hose, potentially reducing braking efficiency and increasing the risk of an accident. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
Recall of the product from end users
SR/03401/25
The impeller that vacuums the fuel and sends it to the engine comes into contact with the outer walls of the fuel pump due to the swelling/expansion caused by operating at high temperatures and by the fuel, which can cause the engine to lose power and the vehicle to stop, increasing the risk of injuries. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of Motor Vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
